WORDplay: Recycle…woop
The brief: WordPlay: Illustrated Typography
We have each been given a word. We are asked to produce a poster using illustration and typography to communicate a complex narrative about this word in two dimensions.
Requirements: Bright, dynamic witty, eye-catching, contemporary and conceptual solution to communicate to the audience your personal approach to the communication of the word you have been given. Final format will be an A2 poster in landscape format. You will also produce a zine and a photo of a 3d model.
my word is RECYCLE! Trying desperately to escape the stereotypical response to this word being about reuse of rubbish and the different colored bins i looked into Recycling in a less physical manner, into the concept of recycling love, which lead to recycling the heart and then onto recycling yourself/ Recycle Me… So far conceptually i am lead in the direction of recycling body. Whether for love, prostitution, DNA within family trees etc or being a organ donor…
These aren’t fully resolved, i intend on working on the ones i think work, any opinions would be appreciated in terms of effectiveness for them… or not!
